Overview of booking conditions

Booking is easy through our website, by phone or email. Receipt of your deposit payment is taken as acceptance of our terms and conditions which will be sent to you by email and are available on our website.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking.

Balance Payments

Balance payments are required 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Full address and directions to the property will be provided upon receipt.

Cancellation

Once you have booked and paid for the holiday it is not possible for a refund unless we can re-let the cottage at short notice. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation.

Payment methods

We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque or debit or credit card through PayPal (an account is not required) a charge of 3.5% will be added only on balance payments by card.

Damages

We do not ask for a damage or breakage deposit but request that our guests pay for any damage or breakages or provide a suitable replacement during their stay. If you cannot agree to the terms and conditions relating to payment for damages which occur during your stay then you are required to pay a refundable £250 deposit prior to your stay to cover such costs. Otherwise we will assume that you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.

What’s included in your holiday

  • End of stay cleaning

  • Bed linen The majority of our houses have duvets and most have washing machines. We offer a linen change for those visitors who are staying for two weeks or more.

  • Bath, hand and pool towels

  • Tea towels

  • Electricity, heating & logs (please see terms & conditions for more information)

  • Pool cleaning prior to arrival and on Saturdays for guests staying longer than 1 week

  • WiFi where available

What is provided

  • Barbeque (not charcoal)

  • Garden furniture and pool loungers

  • Basic kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery adequate for the maximum number of guests allowed

Additional services & information

Arrival is 4pm and departure is by 10am unless agreed in writing in advance

Cots, highchairs and extra beds can be provided for a supplement of £25

TV’s are provided in each house with UK & or French satellite channels where possible, please check each house listing for details

Accessibility/reduced mobility due to the terrain in the Lot Valley and the construction of the houses our properties are not suitable for reduced mobility with the exception of Enfialère, Caramaurel & Gineste.  Several have steep access either via their driveways or directly to the house via steep steps. Please do contact us for further information on access especially with regard to your vehicle before booking.

Swimming pools will normally be available from the end of May until the end of October. However this cannot be guaranteed. Please ask, when booking, for details.

Internet access with WiFi is available where possible at no extra charge (currently in more than 50% of our properties). Please check individual house listings for details. Access information is available on arrival.

Mobile phone signal can be variable due to the extreme geography of most of our houses

Provisions on arrival we are happy to shop for basic provisions if you send us a list in advance. Payment can be arranged during your stay.
