Grounds, pool and surrounding area

Behind the house is a 6m x 4m swimming pool, 1.2 m in depth. It has a security fence around the perimeter.  The surrounding terrace is paved and ideal for stretching out on a sun-lounger.

In front of the house is a lawned area with a terrace and an awning for shade; a gas barbecue is provided for leisurely meals ‘al fresco’.

There is ample parking to the side of the house – leave the car and explore on foot or by bike!

As its’ name suggests, ‘Le Ruisseau’ has a stream running past, on its’ way to the river Lot, whose pleasant green banks are easily accessible for swimming, canoeing, fishing or a picnic.

The house is set well back from the road, not overlooked and can accommodate up to 6 people.  There is a 6m x 4m swimming pool at the rear of the property with a paved surround, perfect for sunbathing; a lawned garden to the front; a barbecue area and an awning to provide shade to the south facing terrace.

The length of the valley can easily be explored by bicycle and there are many walks in this area of stunning scenery.

The village of Vieillevie has a highly recommended restaurant, charming chateau and local store, which is a short walk from the house and sells basic supplies, fresh bread and croissants daily and is also a post office and internet café. The nearest towns are Entraygues-sur-Truyère (17km) and Montsalvy (14km) where you will find banks, local shops, bakers, bars and restaurants plus weekly markets. The large towns of Aurillac and Rodez are about an hours drive and both offer extensive shopping, culture, restaurants and activities to suit all tastes.
