There are several sun terraces at differing levels. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided for outside dining. The area around the property abounds with wildlife: Red kite nest just across the river and deer and even wild pigs have been seen in the vicinity of the cottage. There is parking both at road level and parking for one car at the bottom of the steps leading up to the house.

At road level is a flight of steps providing the cottage with riverfront access where one can sit and fish (permit required for fishing).

As the cottage is situated on the sides of the valley and accessed via some steep flights of steps and with the various terraces it may be unsuitable for very small children.

Visitor comments

"This is a brilliant cottage with everything you would need for a relaxing break. We had mixed weather but still used the (private) pool and had BBQs on 3 nights. It is sooo dark, we spent evenings on the veranda with all the lights out looking at the stars." (A. Kent)
